Biography

Billow Wood are a band from Co.Mayo in the West of Ireland nestled along the Wild Atlantic Way.

The group have been surrounded and brought up on folk and trad music from very young ages. Their energetic live performance can be attributed to playing in family bands growing up. Now, the internationally recognized band fuse Folk/trad/indie and pop to create a new unique sound and are looking to showcase their original music worldwide.

Billow Wood are spending increasingly more time in North America with support from Culture Ireland showcasing their original sound and music. 

The group bring a fresh unique fusion to the stage with their original music being played on various radio stations (national and international) with recommendations from Joe.ie (songs of the day), HotPress Magazine (Band to keep Eyes and Ears on), Today Fm and many more (see web site).

The multi-instrumental with male and female vocal group provide energetic live performances and their original sounds that are perfect for any festival and theatre performances.
