BROTHER
is one of the most
successful Indie exports Australia has made to the US. They blends the
ancient with the contemporary, creating a unique mix of rock & roll
with strong primal influences. Combining traditional rock instruments
(electric guitars and drums) with the haunting and captivating sounds of
the bagpipe and didgeridoo, the band, as Music Connection says,
"stirs a primitive, primal passion."
Along with composing their own music, and in the spirit of Ani DiFranco,
BROTHER has self-produced and released 7 of their own CD's through their
label, Rhubarb Records. To date their catalog sales exceed 100,000 units. |
